Kurt Ahrens Jr.

On the 11th of March 2006, Sven celebrated his 25th birthday in a small village called Bekkevoort, near Leuven and Diest. What he didn't know was, there was a surprise party organized by his mother. So arriving with a blindfold he had no idea...this was just a start...
Carlos Ghys was the one who took the microphone and told the people he had problems to have Michal Schumacher come over as a guest of honor. So out of the back room...there was Kurt Ahrens and his wife Reni.
As you can see, Sven got overloaded with presents. Since that time we became close friends with Kurt, always in for a chat and a joke. Sven was happy...but looking in Kurt's eyes...he was very happy.

The F1Motion Team together with Kurt @ Essen Motorshow 2009. The picture in the middle looks stupid...but being with Kurt...means that jokes fly around the ears. He's a real nice guy to talk to. Always full of passion about motorsport. He said thanks to us for travelling all the way to Germany to talk to some old guys...it's us who should be thankful to meet heroes such as Kurt.
